Can someone who does more probate than me (i.e., more than 2 a year) verify that a specific bequest of real property like, "I leave my home at 123 Whiteacre Road to my son, John" is satisfied before a general gift like, "I leave my daughter, Jill, $30,000.00 cash." Also, there's no way the beneficiary of the specific bequest of real property can be forced to sell the real property to satisfy a general bequest of cash from no specific source or fund, right?
